Randy Shump joined Frost Law, as Of Counsel in 2019 in the firm’s Annapolis, MD office. Randy started his own firm, The Shump Law Firm, PC, in 2004 to provide legal services primarily focused in the areas of Tax Planning, Tax Controversy, Tax Litigation, Estate Planning and Administration, and Asset Protection.

Prior to starting his own firm, Randy worked as an Attorney for the IRS Chief Counsel’s Office in Baltimore, MD performing litigation and field advisory services to Revenue Agents in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to this, he worked for the IRS as a Revenue Agent in the Tax Exempt / Government Entities Division.

Randy served as a council member on the Maryland State Bar Association, Tax Section Council. In addition to his Juris Doctor, Randy holds a CPA license, an LL.M in Taxation and a Real Estate Broker’s license (inactive).
