Peter Mancini came to Frost Law in 2026 as Counsel, bringing extensive experience in administrative law, estate planning, and tax controversy. His practice includes a focus on SBA loan settlements and EIDL matters, and his legal career is backed by a robust tenure as a Senior Attorney for the I.R.S. Office of Chief Counsel in Detroit, Michigan. Before transitioning to the legal field, Peter spent more than two decades in the banking industry. Throughout this 20+ year career, he worked across consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending sectors, ultimately serving in an executive capacity as a Senior Lending Officer managing multiple departments for a Michigan credit union.
Peter’s multi-disciplinary academic background uniquely informs his approach to navigating intricate financial and estate issues. He earned his J.D. with an estate planning focus alongside an LL.M. in Tax from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. Additionally, he holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, a graduate degree in Banking from the University of Wisconsin, and dual undergraduate degrees in History and English Literature from the University of Michigan.
Outside of his legal practice, Peter is dedicated to supporting youth innovation and teamwork in the Flint, Michigan area. He actively serves as the Secretary for both the Michigan Robotics Foundation and the FIRST Robotics Team 1506, mentoring local high school students through competitive robotics. By pairing deep financial sector experience with comprehensive legal training, Peter delivers well-rounded, diligent guidance to clients managing sophisticated tax, corporate, and estate planning objectives.
