Gilad Berkowitz joined Frost Law in 2026 as Of Counsel, bringing extensive knowledge in Mergers & Acquisitions, Venture Capital, and Private Equity. He focuses on advising growth-stage businesses through complex, often cross-border transactions, and is licensed to practice in Maryland, California, and the District of Columbia.

Gilad’s experience spans high-value matters, including roll-up mergers, venture fund formation, institutional lending arrangements, securities offerings, and joint ventures. He regularly counsels growth companies, fund sponsors, financial institutions, and emerging businesses on governance, compliance, and strategic transactions across industries such as AI and robotics, fintech, biopharma, entertainment, and real estate.

What sets Gilad apart is the way his background brings together law, technology, business, and sports, shaping an interdisciplinary approach to legal advice. Internationally, he has advised parent and member entities connected to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s premier basketball league, as well as Israel’s Winner’s League, on umbrella sponsorship matters. He is also proficient in CARTA and serves as general outside counsel, managing agreements across their full lifecycle and handling equity interests for companies in pharma, fintech, e-gaming, online betting, and sports. His practice further extends to IP matters, including technology transfers, licensing arrangements, joint ventures, and partnerships.

Gilad has also worked within the e-gaming regulatory space, serving as counsel to operators, payment processors, and industry stakeholders. His sports and entertainment practice includes Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) representation for both institutions and players, live content distribution work for stakeholders like the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), platform development for creators, and the monetization of biometric data synthesis for stadiums.
