Amy is a Senior Associate Attorney in the firm’s tax controversy practice group, representing individuals and businesses before the IRS and state tax authorities. Her work encompasses wage garnishments, bank levies, employment taxes, trust fund recovery penalties, tax audits, tax return preparer penalties, innocent spouse claims, penalty abatements, offers in compromise, and voluntary disclosures.
A Boston University School of Law LL.M. graduate in Taxation, Amy also holds her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she interned with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and served in the St. Thomas More-Loyola Law Inn of Court. She is a current member of the IRS Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC), appointed to a three-year term.
