Kristin LeClair Zurowski joined the firm in 2017, and focuses her practice on tax and business/commercial law. Kristin began her legal career in June 2008, following a 19 year career as an accountant in both public and private industry. Kristin is also a mediator, certified public accountant, certified internal auditor, and is trained in collaborative law. Licensed to practice law in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, Kristin offers assistance in federal and state tax collection matters, and tax research and analysis. Additionally, Kristin assists clients in business formation, drafting entity organizational and operating documents, contracts, and employment, franchise and lease agreements. She also assists businesses with contract review, mergers, sales, acquisitions, restructuring, dispute resolution, negotiation of termination of business entities and relationships, and commercial litigation.

In Kristin's capacity as an accountant, she served as finance and operations director of a private equity firm, controller of a law firm and two joint venture start-up entities, internal audit manager of a publicly traded real estate operator and developer, senior project accountant of a regional commercial and residential property management company, and manager of a public accounting firm. In addition to Kristin's accounting role in her various positions, she also served as benefits administrator at a law firm and at a private equity firm.

Kristin earned a BS in Accounting from George Mason University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, with a concentration in Real Estate. During law school, she participated in a family mediation clinic, including child access mediation, earning certificates in basic civil mediation and child access mediation. She subsequently obtained certification in domestic property mediation, and child in need of assistance mediation.

Kristin served for 11 years as the volunteer Treasurer of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She currently volunteers with the Anne Arundel County Court Appointed Special Advocate Program, which provides advocates for abused and neglected children who have been placed in foster care, and serves on the Leadership Team of The Blue Ribbon Project, which provides programs to assist foster children and victims of child abuse and neglect. Kristin also serves on the scholarship committee for the American Association of University Women, Anne Arundel County Branch, and has served as a volunteer attorney for the Wills for Heroes Foundation of Maryland.
